How To Check Blue Ripper Rail Straightness

Checking your rail's straightness is simple and fast, you just need some simple tools, and a good eye.

Tools you will need

Procedure Steps:

Tie a good light cord to one of the end rail supports

Checking straightness - Tie string: Tie a good string to one of the end rail supports

Run cord around the opposite end of the rail

Checking straightness - Pull around the far end of the rail: Run string around the opposite end of the rail

Run cord around the near end again

Checking straightness - Pull around the near end of the rail: Run string around the near end again

Hold cord taught while inspecting inner and out edges of the rail to see if there is a gap between the cord and the rail on either side

Checking straightness - Inspect for gaps: Hold string taught while inspecting

If the check shows that the rail is bent then you will need to straighten it
